Oral mucosal diseases
Oral mucosal diseases encompass a wide spectrum of conditions — from recurrent aphthae, through lichen planus, to precancerous lesions. Precise diagnostics and early treatment are crucial for patient health and comfort.
Recurrent aphthae, oral lichen planus, leukoplakia, mucous membrane pemphigoid, drug-induced and fungal lesions. Any chronic oral lesion requires diagnostics to exclude a neoplastic process.
Clinical examination, photographic documentation, cytological and histopathological examination (biopsy). Collaboration with dermatologists and pathologists for lesions requiring interdisciplinary diagnostics.
Local and systemic pharmacological therapy, elimination of irritating factors, treatment of coexisting diseases. Regular monitoring of potentially malignant lesions.
